Job Summary Superior Tire & Rubber Corp.
is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic team.
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HRBP will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive HR services to our manufacturing employees.
This position will focus on assessing developmental needs across the organization, including recruitment, onboarding, training, evaluation, and skills development.
The HRBP will provide valuable HR guidance to enhance the productivity and effectiveness of our people operations.
General Areas of Responsibilities Operations Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to supervisors, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
Offer guidance and interpretation of HR policies to employees at all levels, from directors to supervisors and staff.
Escalate complex employee relations issues or nonroutine requests to HR leadership.
Monitor workforce development throughout the employee lifecycle, including new hires, promotions, and transfers.
Attend weekly supervisor's meetings and communicate HR updates.
Collect and analyze employee attendance data, and translate findings into process improvements for departmental supervisors.
Recruitment Collaborate with department managers to craft comprehensive job descriptions that accurately reflect tasks, responsibilities, and align with organizational needs.
Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies tailored to specific roles and organizational requirements.
Assist in the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with supervisors.
Develop internal recruitment initiatives to foster employee growth and career advancement.
Onboarding Communicate and ensure completion of necessary onboarding documentation.
Implement tailored new hire programs for different employee groups, including temporary employees and newly hired temps.
Collaborate with safety supervision to ensure new employees understand job safety analyses (JSAs).
Ensure timely employee reviews occur within 30, 60, and 90 days of hire, and execute corresponding wage adjustments.
Organize quarterly new hire orientation presentations based on employee segments.
Employee Engagement Implement and execute an effective employee recognition program.
Maintain organizational communications, such as intranet bulletin boards and newsletters, to promote training and development events and resources.
Assist in planning company outings to foster employee engagement.
Manage employee locker assignments and uniform program.
Develop effective training materials using various media and tools.
Train supervisors and employees on HR issues and practices, delivering engaging presentations.
Execute employee rewards programs.
Required Skills/Abilities Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as workforce development, business administration, education, or social services, or equivalent experience.
Strong project management skills, including designing, planning, and implementing workforce development programs and initiatives.
Effective presentation skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and the community.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate the effectiveness of workforce development programs.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software programs used for workforce development activities.
